The R.O.S.E. program started in May 1999, to highlight LaPorte County’s exceptional individuals who provide service above and beyond most others. Many restaurants, shopping, attractions and accommodations use this program to help ensure continual excellent service. This is done through the online R.O.S.E. nomination form found below. When the nomination is submitted it's automatically entered into our database. A panel of judges then determines a winner. The monthly winner is awarded $100 and receives a framed certificate, a rose corsage and public recognition.
Each year, we host along with Porter County the R.O.S.E. (Recognition of Service Excellence) Awards, honoring the best of the best of our hospitality employees. They know that every smile, every handshake, every bit of information they share or help they provide to a visitor can make a difference for our community.
The Employee of the Year Award is given to the “best of the best” front line employee who goes above and beyond the call of duty to promote LaPorte County or helps one of our visitors. The winner is decided by a panel of judges based on the comment section from the past years R.O.S.E. winners.
If you or your business would like a presentation of the purpose and benefits of the R.O.S.E. program, contact Jane Daley at the LPCCVB at 800.634.2650.
