THURSDAY, AUG. 5
Superboats begin to arrive in Washington Park
7pm-9pm 2010 Great Lakes Grand Prix kickoff party at Matey's Restaurant, 110 Franklin Street, Michigan City, VIP and public invited. Live music by "The Unit” and other entertainment.
FRIDAY, AUG. 6
Noon-5pm Washington Park Marina Tours.
Noon-midnight Meet the Superboat Race Teams at the Clubhouse Driving Range, 415 E US Hwy 20, Michigan City. The following bands will be providing entertainment throughout the day, “Jim Post”, “The Current”, “Rich Hardesty”.
5pm-7:30pm VIP and Racer Party, McGinnis Pub, 227 W 7th St.
8pm-10pm Meet and greet at The Game, Blue Chip Casino
8pm-10pm Live music by “Spellbound” at the Jaycee"s Pavilion, Washington Park.
SATURDAY, AUG. 7
Noon-5pm Classic Car show by the 4-A's Car Club Inc., Washington Park
1pm U.S. Coast Guard SAR demonstration, Washington Park Beach
6pm Superboat parade along Franklin Street in Historic Downtown Michigan City.
7pm-11pm Superboat Block Party; 7th Street from Wabash to Franklin and on Washington Street from 6th to 8th Street. Taste of Michigan City, featuring local restaurants and sponsored by Michigan City Mainstreet Association
SUNDAY, AUG. 8
10am-3pm Silent Auction benefiting LaPorte County Chapter, American Red Cross and IOPO (Indiana Organ Procurement Organization) in the bumper car pavilion,Washington Park
9am VIP Tent will open
11am VIP Brunch with live music.
11am First Race
1pm Second Race
5pm Awards ceremony event, VIP’s and the public are invited, Blue Chip Casino Hotel and Spa
