A unique experience: Express yourself! You can choose to express anything while working with recyclable materials. Writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, etc. There is no piece of art here without the effort of all. Most people know instinctively that self-expression has a therapeutic benefit. Even our ancestors drew paintings on their cave walls as a means of expressing themselves. Consciousness, thought, being alive, can cause anxiety and one of the best ways to get rid of anxiety is to express it. Thus writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, singing - all these forms that are called art - began as ways of transforming thoughts and feelings. I encourage everyone who enters to express themselves in an unfettered way. Here the viewer can choose to express anything while working with recyclable materials. Writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, anything in need of release is appropriate. It is my hope and intention that the result will be a sort of public ritual space that is generated by the community. There is no piece of art here without the effort of all. Show runs October 5 – 28. Participate every Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 12-5pm. Opening Reception Friday October 5, 5-8pm.
