As many of you know, there's a whole lot to do in LaPorte County.

Whether doing the backstroke in the choppy waters off Washington Park Beach, buying antiques in downtown LaPorte or picking blueberries under cover of towering bushes, Indiana's 15th most populous county is never short of activities. Nor are we missing out on the great customer service that makes our events and businesses the top choice of millions of visitors each year.

Having so many recreational possibilities, though, can oftentimes present a problem. It’s a good problem, of course, but a problem nonetheless. And that problem is that you can’t know everything that’s going on in LaPorte County because, well, there’s just so darn much. So, every couple weeks or so, Jane Daley (our Community Relations Manager) is going to make it a bit easier for everyone. Thanks to the publishers of the News-Dispatch and The Herald-Argus, and those of us at the LaPorte County Convention and Visitors Bureau, you won’t have to figure it out on your own.

So sit back, relax, get out your pen and paper and make sure you don’t miss any of the wonderful things happening in LaPorte County.
