The craft beer craze has arrived in LaPorte County. From malty stouts to tart pale ales, local brewers fine-tune each recipe. Today, LaPorte County has more operational breweries than ever. Most of these breweries are locally owned and operated using local ingredients. Come for a visit and get to know the artisans behind our favorite brews.

Back Road Brewery, LaPorte

Back Road Brewery, opened 1996, is LaPorte’s first production craft brewery. Tour the eclectic, industrial atmosphere while sipping on a sample. They rotate as many as 40 different recipes each year and growlers/bottles are available for sale, so be sure to take home one of your favorites.
