
4th of July Parade: Made in America, with Hometown Pride

The 77th Annual 4th of July Parade hosted by the LaPorte Kiwanis Club will take place on Tuesday, July 4 beginning at 10am. “Made in America, with Hometown Pride” the theme for this year’s parade, sets the tone as bands, floats, firefighters, police units, dancers, and so many more step off downtown following the traditional route, traveling down Lincolnway from Tipton St to Andrew Ave. The parade will be preceded by the Annual Run for Riley and the recently added Kiwanis Kids Korner.
About the Kiwanis Club of LaPorte: Founded in 1921, the Kiwanis Club of LaPorte is part of a global organization which strives to improve the world one child and one community at a time. In recent years, the Club membership has raised funds and provided volunteers to support local food pantries, donated AED’s to first responders, distributed college scholarships, and created sponsored clubs within the local elementary, middle, and high schools to build young leaders.
