Meet at the Mount Baldy parking lot for a ranger-led hike to the top of the beautiful and famous Mount Baldy. The views of Lake Michigan and the surrounding area are spectacular. Meet at the Mount Baldy Trail parking lot located at 101 Rice Street (U.S. Highway 12), Michigan City, IN 46360. The summit trail is restricted to ranger-led hikes only. We strongly ask the public to respect and follow posted closure signs and stay out of roped-off areas. The dune is still closed for reasons of public safety and restoration efforts.
