Coho Capital Derby – April 19 – May 3, 2019

The southeastern portion of Lake Michigan is known for its abundant Coho population, making LaPorte County, Indiana, the “Coho Capital of the World.” Cast a line in one of our favorite fishing spots at the 8th Annual Coho Capital Derby. The Derby will run April 19-May 3 and will feature weekly cash prizes and a $2,500 payout. Bravo, Maestro! III Season Finale – May 14, 2019

Join the LaPorte County Symphony for a Rodgers & Hammerstein Pops Concert: the 2019 season finale featuring conductor candidate, Alexander Platt!  Platt will be the 3rd of 6 candidates to bring their unique and inspirational styles to the podium. Jammin’ with Save the Dunes – June 1, 2019

It’s time again for Jammin’ with Save the Dunes!! Jammin’ is Save the Dunes signature fundraiser which brings hundreds of dunes lovers to beautiful Washington Park in Michigan City on the Lake Michigan shoreline. The festival features many of your favorite local breweries, local wineries and local food. Get your tickets today! Tickets are $20 online and $25 at the door. Lake Michigan Catamaran Championships presented by CRAM and Hobie Cat Fleet 126 – June 21 – 23, 2019

Join the Catamaran Racing Association of Michigan (CRAM) and Hobie Cat Fleet 126 of Michigan City, IN for the Lake Michigan Catamaran Championships at the Washington Park Public Beach in Michigan City, IN. World class sailors from around the U.S. and Canada will be competing head to head on high performance one-design catamaran sailboats in multiple races each day.
