About Pine Elementary Magnet School for the Visual & Performing Arts

Pine Elementary Magnet School for the Visual and Performing Arts invites visitors to stop by anytime school is in session (Monday-Friday, 9:00am-2:00pm) to view the Pine Gallery, a rotating exhibit that features work by area artists. Also on display in the library is a large wall sculpture by noted 20th century artist George Sugarman, entitled “Festival,” which is on long-term loan from Purdue University Northwest.

Pine Elementary serves as a K-6 magnet school for the Visual and Performing Arts. Students at Pine receive a solid education in core subjects, with enriched instruction through units that feature Arts themes. As a magnet school, Pine also has specialist teachers in the Arts and extended learning options such as field trips and after-school activities related to the Visual and Performing Arts.
