About Westville Area Chamber of Commerce

This welcoming community has a lot to offer visitors, with a lively fall festival, an excellent outdoor art display, and good home-style food. Westville is the home of Purdue University Northwest, which features the largest outdoor sculpture park in the state, set amid acres on this pleasant shady campus. Walk among larger-than-life sculptures created by world-renowned artists on a self-guided tour where you’ll discover an incredible variety, from colorful works to stark modern creations to light-hearted figures.

Spring through fall, you might stop outside of town at Coulters’ Produce, where you can buy flowers and plants, fruits and vegetables. Make sure to bring the kids along in September and October for free weekend hayrides and picking their own pumpkins.

Fall is a season for frolicking in this community at the popular Westville Pumpkin Festival, held the last weekend in September. The three-day celebration, which celebrated its 28th year in 2020, includes a parade, entertainment, wonderful dinners prepared by local churches and civic groups, a teen dance, car show, fun run, and best of all – PUMPKINS! There’s pumpkin decorating, a pumpkin pie-eating contest, and loads of pumpkin pie for celebrants to enjoy. The festival takes place at Prairie Meadow Park, a great stop with the kids any time to enjoy the beautiful new playground equipment and perhaps a picnic.

Memorial Day Weekend, the National Softball Association sponsors a tournament at Birch Field, to honor local Marine Joshua Birchfield, who lost his life in the Iraq War.

The Market on Main Arts and Craft Festival is always held on the first Saturday in June from 10am-4pm. This is an artisan + vintage market in downtown Westville. Enjoy local vendors, restaurants, entertainment, beer and wine.

The Old Time Country Market is a one-of-a-kind grocery store. They carry great variety of meats, produce and gift shop products locally grown and made.

Westville has a great offering of neighborhood bars and restaurants so you can fuel up with pleasure during your visit here. At Sweet Lou That’s Who, enjoy home-style cooking with upscale sandwiches, soups and desserts and her signature chips and salsa. The exquisite pizza and pasta at Olga’s Place draw raves. Jimmy’s Grub and Pub is a family-style restaurant with a bar in back. Best of all, wherever you go in Westville, friendly smiles let you know you’re welcome here.
