Kayak the Great Lake – Paddlers feel as if they are one with the water when they glide the Lake Michigan National Water Trail. This designated route, favored by experienced kayakers, covers the entire Indiana shoreline of Lake Michigan. Dive from the Sky – If you and your buddies really want bragging rights back at home, imagine showing everyone a video or photo of your freefall from 14,000 feet. Skydive Windy City, based in Michigan City, makes it all happen with skydiving jaunts that take off from the Michigan City Airport. No previous experience is necessary for tandem skydiving, where you are fitted with a harness, provided goggles, and tethered to your professional instructor for the dive.
